- promote continuing education;
- transition learners from one educational level to the next;
- combine workforce training and credit courses;
- lead to industry-recognized credentials; and
- lead to college-level credentials such as certificates or AAS degrees.
Career Pathways are designed to prepare individuals such as:
- dual enrollment high schoolers;
- incumbent workers;
- those transitioning to new career fields:
- those returning to the workforce;
- adults who never went to college before; and
- those earning industry credentials through workforce trainings.

Local School District Partners
Seamless curriculum programs are developed in cooperation with the local high schools and technical centers in the school divisions of Accomack and Northampton counties. Some classes are available as dual enrollment to high school students who qualify.
