Business Office Assistant
This part-time position will work closely with full-time business office personnel, as well as students, faculty, and staff. This position will assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities originating at the college, and various other functions in support of business office and college operations.
Functional Responsibilities:· Update/maintain spreadsheets related to payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.· File various forms of documentation related to payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.· Assist with basic human resources functions, such as filing, I9 documentation, etc.

Business Office Liaison
This position will provide support for students and employees of the college in the ESCC Business Office. Activities performed include, but are not limited to, posting federal receipts and disbursements to automated accounting system; working with TCC on preparation of financial aid reconciliation and disbursement of awards; accounts receivable billings for tuition and fees; daily printing and distribution of various reports from SIS, AIS, and Cardinal for all business office staff; procurement including ordering and invoice tracking; and records management. This position may also serve as cashier for receiving and posting all revenues and compiling daily cash settlement reports with preparation of corresponding deposits.

Career Services Coach
The Career Services Coach supports the activities of ESCC’s Contact to Career program, including a comprehensive Career Services Center and the Title III grant which funds the program. The Career Services Coach will assist in the implementation of strategies that improve student retention, increase students in internships, increase the number of students who attain credentials, and increase the number of students who transition from adult education to academic programs. This position will also assist in services, programs, and events that support the school’s mission, meeting the needs of a diverse campus population and fostering student professional and career development. Finally, this individual must be able to provide excellent service to students, alumni, employers and members of the community.
This is a restricted funded position.

Head Men’s/Women’s Soccer Coach
Reporting to the President, the position of Head Coach is responsible for recruiting student athletes; planning/coordinating practices and games; working with community members on the use of the field / pitch, setting high standards for academic and athletic success; fundraising for athletic team; and evaluating the Your Eastern Shore Community College athletic teams that are participating at the competitive and/or National Junior College Athletic Association level. This position is expected to work collaboratively to increase opportunities for athletic engagement outside of the classroom for students. The primary responsibility of this Head Coach is to prepare students for athletic and academic success on the field/court of competition and in the classroom. Makes decisions with approval/confirmation from the President.

Adult Education Instructor (3 Positions Available)
ESCC’s Adult Education Program offers adult learners who have not completed high school the opportunity to gain a high school equivalency credential through individualized instruction and classes in adult basic education, literacy and high school equivalency preparation. The Integrated English Literacy-Civics Education Program offers adult learners English instruction in speaking, listening, reading, and writing to enable them to function effectively in family life, the workplace, and the community. Workforce readiness skills are also an important part of Adult Education and are offered within classes and as a separate class for those adults who are looking to enhance their skills for entry/reentry into the workforce. The Adult Education program operates as part of ESCC’s Workforce Development Services department and collaborates to offer Integrated Education and Training (IET) opportunities for students.
Part-time adult education instructor: teach students adult basic education and prepare students to pass the high school equivalency test and/or learn to speak, read and write the English language; teach students workplace readiness skills to include resume writing, soft skills and employment skills, administer assessments; participate in staff development to learn best practices of instruction; assist the Fast Forward Career Coach in moving students into post-secondary education and the job market.

Practical Nursing Education Adjunct
The adjunct faculty member is responsible for teaching courses to which he/she has specific training or competence. Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to students to promote and direct student learning in either a classroom, remote via Zoom, or online environment to students with a wide variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. Engages students outside of class via office hours and provides thorough, timely, and effective feedback to students regarding the mastery of course and program learning outcomes.
1. Responsible for creating a learning environment that facilitates students’ acquisition of knowledge and skills in a discipline and/or program.
2. Aligns course activities with student learning outcomes for the course; employ a variety of active learning strategies to foster student engagement; employ appropriate technology and supporting materials that support course and/or program learning outcomes; and provide students with prompt and meaningful feedback on course activities and assignments, communicating with students in a timely and respectful manner.
3. Deliver instruction in support of stated learning outcomes; adhere to college policies and procedures for participation in student surveys of instruction; conduct meaningful and timely assessments of student learning, including at least one assessment within the first 15% of class; and analyze the previous semester’s evaluation of instruction and develop and implement appropriate action plans as necessary.
4. Responsibilities may include work during the day, evening and/or weekend as determined by the course(s) assigned.
5. Hold at least 1 office hour per week for each credit hour assigned.

Welding Adjunct
Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. All faculty members must be skilled in oral and written communications and must be able to work cooperatively with other staff members.
