Adult Education Instructor

Part-time adult education instructor: teach students adult basic education and prepare students to pass the high school equivalency test and/or learn to speak, read and write the English language; teach students workplace readiness skills to include resume writing, soft skills and employment skills, administer assessments; participate in staff development to learn best practices of instruction; assist the Fast Forward Career Coach in moving students into post-secondary education and the job market.

Business Office Liaison

This position will provide support for students and employees of the college in the ESCC Business Office. Activities performed include, but are not limited to, posting federal receipts and disbursements to automated accounting system; working with TCC on preparation of financial aid reconciliation and disbursement of awards; accounts receivable billings for tuition and fees; daily printing and distribution of various reports from SIS, AIS, and Cardinal for all business office staff; and records management. This position may also serve as cashier for receiving and posting all revenues and compiling daily cash settlement reports with preparation of corresponding deposits.

Learning Resources Lead

The Learning Resources Lead functions as a team member and works independently to support the Coordinator of Strategic Resources and Learner Support by providing the following routine library services: management of daily operations including circulation; purchasing, cataloging and processing, of books and electronic database/resources; interlibrary loan; instructional technology; technology resources for checkout and/or use by students, faculty, and staff; and information resource support for the college. The Learning Resources Lead also manages the testing center by ensuring the center maintains required certifications to proctor third party assessments, such as NCCT and PSI; hiring, training, and supporting test administrators and proctors; creating and maintaining the Testing Center Plan, including testing center policies and procedures; developing, assessing, and reporting Testing Center outcomes; ensuring the Testing Center has the equipment and software to execute its functions; and managing daily operations such as hours of service and customer service.

The Learning Resources Lead also functions in a supporting role to the Coordinator of Strategic Resources and Learner Support by assisting the position in strategic planning, research, and assessment. The Learning Resources Lead provides support to academics and workforce goals and outcomes, particularly through information and technical support for platforms such as the online college catalog, syllabi, and other educational software and processes.

The position requires a flexible schedule to ensure oversight and staffing of the Learning Resources Center and Testing Center.

Trades Assistant

Position Summary: This position will perform manual maintenance, grounds, trades and custodial tasks in and around campus buildings and grounds. Building maintenance and custodial duties to include classrooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, labs, restrooms and lectures halls. Assist in moving furniture and equipment; stripping and waxing floors; setup and breakdown for special events; maintaining approximately 113 acres of grounds including mowing, weed control, landscaping and pruning. Assist with cleanup associated with inclement weather conditions.

This position is considered essential and may be required to report to work during inclement weather and/or emergencies. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

Security Officer II

The Security Officer position works to ensure a safe environment for staff, students and visitors of the campus. The purpose of these positions is for assistance to staff, students, and visitors by providing information, directions, and access to various areas of the campus. To protect property from theft or damage and protect persons from hazards or interference. Patrols campus to check for irregularities and responds accordingly by contacting emergency responders, if necessary.
