The college is now accepting applications for the fall 2015 Practical Nursing certificate program.  The three-semester program is designed to prepare beginning practitioners for an exciting career as an LPN with the knowledge and skills to function as a contributing member of the health care team in a variety of health service facilities.
Upon the successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination, leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  The  2014 PN class had a NCLEX pass rate of 100 percent.

One advantage of ESCC’s nursing programs is the integration of clinical laboratory practice using state-of-the-art patient care simulators and laboratory equipment to better prepare students for their role in the workforce.  Students also have meaningful clinical experience in local health care facilities.
