A number of scholarship opportunities for the Fall Semester are available and now there is more time to apply

Your Eastern Shore Community College offers “YES!” to students seeking assistance in advancing their education. Many resources are available, including a broad offering of Local and Community scholarships.

Scholarships at the Eastern Shore Community College have been established through the generosity of individuals, organizations, businesses, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the Eastern Shore Community College Foundation. 

Some scholarships are based on academic merit, some on financial need, and some on a combination of different factors.  Please carefully read each scholarship description to see if you meet the criteria for selection.

Along with scholarships through the ESCC Foundation and other local organizations, other community groups offer scholarships that can be used to attend ESCC or for other educational opportunities.  See the below links for more information on both Local ESCC, and Community Scholarships that are available.

Also make sure you have completed the FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid). Instructions on how to apply online are here.

The Virginia Foundation for Community College Education program benefits second-year students who share a passion to grow, lead, and serve their communities.
