Melfa, VAEastern Shore Community College is reviewing its mission statement, vision and values and wants to hear from the public as they begin building their next  five-year strategic plan.   An on-line survey, using a SWOT analysis (Strengths/Weaknesses/Opportunities/Threats), is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/X6TWZVF.

Like the College’s current Five Year Strategic Plan for 2010-2015, the next strategic plan will focus on meeting the needs of the people and businesses on the Eastern Shore of Virginia through specific and measurable goals.  The next plan will begin in 2016 and carry through the beginning of the next decade.

College President, Linda Thomas-Glover said, “ESCC is committed to enhancing the quality of life on the Shore by providing access to higher education and training, enhancing community partnerships, and contributing to the development of a strong workforce.  We appreciate the public’s participation in this planning process.”
