On Friday, October 4, the Eastern Shore Community College Foundation will host the 31st Annual H.B. Rew, Jr. Golf tournament to benefit the ESCC Foundation.  The tournament will be held at Eastern Shore Yacht and Country Club.  The format is Captain’s Choice and tee time is at 1:00 with a shotgun start.  Lunch will be provided with beverages available throughout the day.  A putting contest will be back again this year with a $200 prize.  Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30am.

Following the tournament, the Foundation will host an awards reception on the ESYCC grounds to recognize the tournament prize winners and to honor Mr. Rew. 

The fee for the tournament is $100 per player and includes greens fees, carts, driving range, lunch, and the awards reception.  Players may sign up individually or in foursomes.  Teams will be flighted according to total team handicap.

The tournament is the ESCC Foundation’s largest fund-raiser. Proceeds support student scholarships, the Project Horizons program to benefit at-risk youth, program expansion, and facility improvements.

Player registration and sponsorships are both due Friday, September 20.
