Accomack County Schools and ESCC Workforce Conduct Workshop

Tuesday, January 31st, all Career and Technical Education Teachers, Guidance Counselors, and Advisory Committee Members from Accomack County Public Schools, convened at Workforce Development Services at ESCC for a CTE Professional Development Workshop. The session was facilitated by Ms. Tamara Sterling, CTE Coordinator/Director of Secondary Schools, and Mr. Curtis Taylor, CTE Instructor at Badger South, with the purpose of providing updates and discussion on Career and Technical Education in 2017.
After a greeting by Superintendent Chris Holland, meeting segments were presented on CTE and the Special Education Student, The Perkins Grant, Annual Performance, Branding, and a CTE Legislative Update.
The Career and Technical Education program offers students quality instructional opportunities in both academic and career oriented programs of study to successfully prepare students for the challenges of post-secondary education and competing for jobs in the workplace.
