“BigForestFire” to Perform at Oyster Roast

11/20/2024

The Eastern Shore Community College Foundation has announced that talented regional musician Jeremy Mangrum and his band BigForestFire will be performing at the annual Foundation Oyster Roast at ESCC on Friday, January 31st from 5:30PM-8:30PM at the Workforce Development Great Hall. The event has become a favorite winter gathering that helps support Eastern Shore students, and provides a bountiful offering of Eastern Shore seafood along with music and fun.

BigForestFire has an unmistakable sound deeply rooted in Louisiana Blues. This ensemble has entertained audiences for years with a unique blend of influences and the vocal and instrumental talents of leader Jeremy Mangrum. Soulful vocals, a locked-in rhythm section and the improvisational fireworks of Mangrum’s guitar and trumpet, create a genre-hopping musical experience to remember. Opening for major artists at a number of large venues in Hampton Roads, the band has garnered quite a following.

Enjoy fresh local roasted oysters, steamed clams, homemade chowder, BBQ and sides, craft beer, wine, sodas and more, outdoors under a tent with heaters and inside our Great Hall. Fun silent Auction and Live Music by BIGFORESTFIRE . All proceeds support scholarships and services for local ESCC students. Ticket price includes drinks.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Monday, December 2nd. Watch here for link and details!
