Eastern Shore Community College’s 2017 Spring Semester begins on Monday January 9th, and registration has now begun.  The college is holding Priority Enrollment Program, or “PEP” Day, on Saturday November 19th from 9:00am-1:00pm, to help students put their registration process on the fast track.
PEP Day will offer many registration resources with the convenience of Saturday hours.  Expert assistance will be provided for all aspects of registration, from advising to financial aid and placement testing. Students are encouraged not to wait to register. The availability of certain classes, and financial aid options could be affected by not acting soon.

In addition to the comprehensive assistance for registration, two information sessions will be provided Saturday.  There will be an update session for students enrolled in the Radiology Tech program at 10:00am. For individuals who may be interested in switching from their current job to a career in teaching, there will be an info session on Educate VA, which is the Virginia Community College System’s Teacher Prep Program.  This program helps individuals take existing education and experience, and expedite teaching certification.  This session will also be held at 10:00am, and the contact for more information is Stephanie Zodun at 757-789-5929, or email, szodun@es.vccs.edu.

Saturday’s event offers a convenient timeframe for many to get registered for the new semester, but individuals are encouraged to come in sooner if their schedule allows.  The student services staff at ESCC is excited to help you through the process. They will work with you to secure the classes you require for your particular career path and employ all the resources available to make sure you’re ready for class on January 9th.
