With over 33 years experience in education with Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland, a large and diverse district outside Washington, D.C., Tracey Fliakas has worked in elementary, middle and high schools as a general education teacher, special educator, consulting teacher, and department chair.

As an instructional role model, Tracey has provided feedback and assisted teachers in building a knowledge base and repertoire of instructional strategies. She worked with teachers to continually assess student progress, analyze the results, and adapt instruction to improve student achievement.

Tracey wishes to inspire teachers who in turn inspire their students.
