ESCC Joins Rural Virginia Initiative

Eastern Shore Community College has become a part of the newly-formed Rural Virginia “Horseshoe” Initiative, a statewide effort to increase educational attainment. The initiative combines community colleges in rural parts of Virginia stretching from the Eastern Shore through Southside and SouthwestVirginia and up the Shenandoah Valley — geographically forming a horseshoe.
