Community Scholarships

Along with scholarships through the ESCC Foundation and other local organizations, other community organizations offer scholarships that can be used to attend ESCC or for other educational opportunities.  Click on the links below for more information.

NMA Federal Credit Union Scholarship

Delmarva Education Foundation Searchable database of scholarships specifically for students in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.

Delta Kappa Gamma Society Beta Chapter Frances N. Wimer Recruitment Grant

Dominion Diversity Scholarship Provides $5,000 scholarship and a paid summer internship.

Eva T. Hardy Commonwealth Legacy Scholarship Three scholarships given to meritorious community college students who demonstrate potential for public service and civic leadership.

John T. Casteen III Commonwealth Legacy Scholarship Three scholarships will be awarded to meritorious community college students who plan to transfer to the University of Virginia.

Kathy Camper Commonwealth Legacy Scholarship Provides two $3,500 scholarships to VCCS students pursuing careers in information technology or childhood education.

Marriott Scholarship 2014  Provides scholarships for Hospitality and Tourism education.  Must complete the Marriott Scholarship Application 2014 and the Personal Statement

NASA National Community College Aerospace Scholars Select group of students invited to visit NASA to participate in an on-site team project.

Pungoteague Ruritan Club Scholarship  Provides a $1,000 scholarship to students planning to attend or currently attending ESCC.

Valley Proteins Fellowship Scholarship awards up to $5,000 for tuition, books, fees and expenses at VCCS colleges.

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Visual Arts Fellowship Supports professional artists as well as art students who demostrate exceptional creative ability in their chosen discipline.

Walmart Associate Scholarships Scholarships for Walmart employees.

Virginia Space Grant Consortium Scholarships for students majoring in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM)

Virginia Sheriffs’ Institute Scholarship program is for students pursuing an educational curriculum in law enforcement or criminal justice.  Access online application.

Women’s Club of Accomack County Scholarship is a $700 scholarship for a student in Education or Health Professions.
