A local organization has a need for someone with strong interpersonal skills to be the “First Contact” at their front desk for 4 to 6 weeks. Responsibilities will include answering the phone, redirecting phone calls, and some typing/basic secretarial duties. ESCC Fall 2020 Apprenticeship Opportunity (October 2020)
Fall apprenticeship opportunity available for students studying Electronics, Electricity or Industrial Technology. This is a paid, work-based experience working with an assigned mentor at Tyson Foods in Temperanceville.
Applicants should have a schedule that allows for a 30 hour work week beginning October 2020. Preference will be given to students that have completed 15 or more credit hours. Reliable transportation is required. Female and minority students are encouraged to apply.

Library Specialist I – Circulation and Public Service (October 2020)
Part-time position. No benefits. Must be able to work during weekdays and at both the Accomac and Nassawadox locations. This is an entry level position that requires a high school diploma. The key job function is general library customer service at the front desk working with the public. Excellent communication and basic computer skills are required. Hourly wage based upon experience. The Processor provides support to our Personal Lines Department using clerical skills to assist Account Managers and Executives to service clients with expertise in the field of Property and Casualty and a quality of service that maintains a long-term relationship both internally and externally. Assist the Commercial Lines Department in their efforts to maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions, ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
Part Time Administrative Assistant (August 2020)
Administrative work in church office in Parksley working four partial days weekly. General bookeeping skills required using Quickbooks, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher .
Requires maintaining church website and Facebook page, communicating with church members, managing monthly newsletter, documenting church activities and donations and maintaining calendar. Good oral and written communication skills are required as well as a friendly disposition.

This is entry level however we have a career progression plan that can lead into various positions within the Company such as Senior Technicians to Management level positions. Pay is $16.50 to start. Location: Tasley, VA.
Hours: Sun-Wed and one for Wed – Sat both shift hours are Sat 8 am -7 pm. There is overtime as well.
Training will be in Morrisville, NC for three weeks. (Hotel is paid)
Must have a Driver’s License and be willing to drive to assigned territories throughout the day in the Tasley area.

Field Engineer Position/ PEG LLC (July 2020)
Field Engineer In Training Position. This position is now available in Nashville, TN in addition to Chantilly VA, Allentown PA, and Raleigh NC. This position requires the use of the employee’s personal vehicle to transport them from job site to job site. The vehicle must be reliable and big enough to house company equipment securely without it getting wet. We usually recommend a sedan or bigger. The starting salary for this position is $40K.
