Office Manager Position at Klingel Landscape
Jeff Klingel Landscape is a growing design/build landscape contractor based in Eastville, Virginia. We are currently seeking an office manager with some light bookkeeping experience. A qualified candidate will be very organized, communicate well, and have a good grasp on basic computer skills. Quickbooks experience is a plus, but we will train a candidate who has some background in accounting or small business finance. Other responsibilities include contract writing, scheduling, filing, phone duties, and general customer service. This position could be parlayed into a full time position although 30 hours to start would be ideal. Our office operates Monday through Friday but we are happy to offer flexible hours for those that have classes, families, or other responsibilities that require consideration. Nature Conservancy Marine Field Technician
The Nature Conservancy is seeking applications for a Marine Field Technician to support the Volgenau Virginia Coast Reserve’s Marine Habitat Restoration Program. The technician will collect and manage data necessary for monitoring restored and existing oyster reefs, eelgrass meadows, and bay scallops. In addition, the technician will assist the team with the construction of artificial substrate oyster reefs, collection of eelgrass reproductive shoots, maintenance of our eelgrass seed curing facility and other necessary functions of our Marine Program.
