Peer Tutor – Math and English
Provide individual tutoring in specified discipline for which hired and integrate study and learning strategies to promote independent learning. Demonstrated experience in the subject area assigned to tutor with at least a “B” or better average in content area. Peer Tutor must have at least sophomore standing, be knowledgeable of content area, and have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Math tutors must at least be proficient in math from developmental through college algebra. English tutors must be proficient in English form developmental to English literature courses.

Teaching experience in Criminal Justice. Knowledge of, and experience with, proven teaching strategies that promote student success. Candidates should possess sufficient technology skills to work productively in an organization that utilizes significant information and instructional technology resources.

Testing Center Specialist
The Testing Center Proctor will support the overall operations and core testing functions of the Testing Center with a mission of service to students, faculty, staff, employers and community members.

Security Officer
The Security officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for all staff, students, and visitors of the campus. The position provides protection of people and property through regular patrols, enforcement of campus policies and prompt response to incidents.
Enforce campus policies and procedures to uphold order and compliance among all members of the campus community, including employees, students, and visitors.
Maintain a safe environment for faculty, staff, students, and campus visitors.
Provide assistance by offering information, directions, and access to authorized areas across the campus.
Protect campus property against theft damage, and other threats, while ensuring the personal safety of individuals on campus.
Conduct routine patrols to identify and address any safety concerns or irregularities, initiating contact with emergency personnel when necessary.

Welding Adjunct
Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. All faculty members must be skilled in oral and written communications and must be able to work cooperatively with other staff members.

Workforce Services is looking for an adjunct to teach a series of hospitality-related credentials leading to the AHLEI Certified Hospitality Manager certification. Work experience in lodging and/or food service management needed.
