Attending ESCC to earn an Associate degree and then transfer to a four-year college and university has become increasingly popular. We help students navigate their entry-level college experience and prepare them for “what’s next.” Earning an Associate degree at ESCC also saves students money.
Starting the transfer exploration process early is vital to a successful transfer. All four-year colleges and universities have different requirements for admissions.
One way to guarantee admission to your school of choice is to follow a VCCS Guaranteed Admissions Agreement (GAA). It is important to note that admission to a school via the GAA does not guarantee admission to all of that school’s programs of study. For example, a General Studies GAA admission most likely will not transfer automatic admission into the BioEngineering program offered at a college or university. It is important to create an action plan early so you make sure you are taking the right courses for your intended program of study.
Contact studentservices@es.vccs.edu to request an appointment with a Transfer Advisor. It is recommended that you meet with a transfer advisor during the first semester of your freshman year.
