March 29, 2019

The third meeting of the committee on Workforce Development Resource Analysis and Realignment took place on March 29, 2019, as well as at an in-depth meeting at ESCC with both ESCC and TCC Workforce officials.  This discussion revolved around marketing, business development, business models and revenue, credentials, and opportunities for partnering between ESCC and TCC.  From this meeting, recommendations will be forthcoming for these areas of ESCC’s Workforce Development Services.

 

March 11, 2019

The second meeting of the committee on Workforce Development Resource Analysis and Realignment took place on March 11, 2019.  A more in-depth review was conducted of ESCC’s Workforce organizational structure took place, including determining positions funded by grants.  In the course of the review of grant-funded positions, it was noted that there may be opportunities within some of these grants to include indirect costs as well as potentially other workforce activities.  In addition, ESCC’s business model for workforce training was discussed.  Based on these discussions, a meeting to more thoroughly understand the business model, workforce offerings, and staffing will be held with TCC and ESCC Workforce officials on April 1, 2019, at ESCC.

 

February 14, 2019

The first meeting of the committee on Workforce Development Resource Analysis and Realignment took place on February 14, 2019.  As part of the discussion surrounding administrative costs, an overview of ESCC’s Workforce Development Services current organizational structure took place.  In addition, possible opportunities for partnering in the areas of workforce training capacity and business development were discussed.
