Participating Agencies and Programs

ESCC is a managing partner of the Eastern Shore One-Stop Center Management Consortium.

The consortium is a network of agencies that are working together to provide seamless services to businesses and individuals through referrals and open communication.

Network participants include:

  • Virginia Employment Commission
  • Eastern Shore Area Agency on Aging/Community Action Agency
  • Eastern Shore Community College
  • Veterans Administration
  • Telemon Corporation
  • Accomack County Social Services
  • Northampton County Social Services
  • Department of Rehabilitative Services
  • Virginia Cooperative Extension

These agencies offer many programs and services, some of which may be of benefit to you. Each agency and program has its own set of eligibility requirements which must be met in order for you to access their services.

By working together, we are able to be certain that you have the best access possible to all of the services for which you may qualify.  These may include:

  • Direct financial assistance
  • Training for employment
  • Assistance in finding a job
  • English language instruction
  • Preparation for the GED
  • Transportation assistance
  • Other possible programs and services

Common Intake Form

If you visit any of the above agencies, be certain to complete the Eastern Shore Workforce Center’s Common Intake Form and sign the release. When you do this, you will activate a whole network of agencies to help you accomplish your goals for you and your family.

The information you provide will be used to determine which partner agencies may be best able to assist you, and referrals to those agencies will be made.  Once a referral is made, the specific agency will contact you to find out if you are interested in participating in their program(s), and give you the option to provide information to determine if you are eligible.

The choice of whether or not to participate will be yours, but the Common Intake Form will help us to be certain that you get all of the information you may need about services that may be available to you.
