Current Textbook Price List (Please note that additional prices for textbooks will be added as inventory is received.)

Payment Method

Payment of books and supplies is expected at the time of purchase. You may pay using one or a combination of the following methods:

  • Cash - accepted only in person at the Bookstore during regular business hours.
  • Check or Money Order - accepted in person at the Bookstore. The check must be made out for the exact amount and made payable to ESCC. Third party checks are not accepted. A service charge of $20.00 is charged to you for any payment that is dishonored by your bank, except when the bank is at fault.
  • VISA or MasterCard - accepted only in person at the Bookstore. The cardholder must be present to sign the receipt.
  • Agency Contract or Employer Authorization - accepted at the Bookstore upon presentation of proper documentation. By using an agency contract or employer authorization, you agree to accept responsibility for the full amount of books and supplies if the agency/employer does not pay within 30 days after invoice.
  • Student Financial Aid - accepted only if you have received an official financial aid award letter from the College Financial Aid Office. Please see the Financial Aid section if you have any questions about the financial aid process or if you wish to speak to one of the Financial Aid Counselors.

Facts About Textbooks

Did You Know...
  • Basic texts are selected by faculty.
  • Different instructors may select different texts for different sections of the same course.
  • Supplementary texts or materials may be ordered by individual instructors. They may or may not be used for a subsequent semester.
  • A shortage in textbooks may result when:
    • Additional classes are added at the last minute
    • The publisher's supply is exhausted
    • There are transportation problems
    • A human error is made

Refund Policy - FAQ

Will the bookstore return the purchase price of a textbook?
Yes, only until the end of the add/drop period.

How soon must I return a text for credit?
By the end of the add/drop period.

What do I bring to the bookstore for the refund?
The purchased book, clean and unmarked, and the cash register receipt. The Bookstore Manager will determine if a refund is in order. Refund checks will be issued after the add/drop period.

What can I do with a misprinted or irregular textbook?
Return it to the Bookstore immediately for a replacement.

What if I open and/or remove the plastic that a book is sealed in?
Any book that is sold to you sealed in plastic wrapping cannot be returned unless the plastic is sealed.
