Fact BookThe Office of Research, Planning and Assessment maintains and develops data resources at the College to support strategic planning and policy-making processes as a component of the College mission. The efforts of the office are aimed at continuously improving the quality of education and services at Eastern Shore Community College. It provides students, faculty, and senior administrative staff with analyses and information that form the basis of all major planning initiatives. The office provides both the historical data on the College and comparative data on the Virginia Community College System, as well as conducts qualitative and quantitative research regarding opinions of the College’s constituents. The office also coordinates data reporting requirements of the College to outside agencies, such as the College’s accreditation associations. The fact book is a compilation of documents to help assist with these efforts by providing the College with current and trend data.
