Administrative Support Technology

The Administrative Support Technology (AST) Program culminates with the Associate of Applied Science Degree and Certificate. The program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in office occupations. AST students study traditional skills of typing and machine transcription in a state-of-the-art computerized environment.

Courses in business management and office administration as well as a supervised internship prepare graduates to take leadership positions in a fully automated office.

Today's businesses require well-trained, versatile office technologists. Such individuals are in demand in local businesses and government agencies.

Graduate Careers

Graduates of these programs have pursued employment as:
  • Administrative Assistants
  • Office Managers
