Using NetLibraryNetLibrary eBooks may be accessed from both on and off campus. If you want to access this collection from a location other than ESCC, first you must create a NetLibrary user account. Create a NetLibrary Account You must use an ESCC computer to do the following: - Go to the NetLibrary Web site.
- Type netlibrary.com in the address bar;
- Or click an eBook link from within the library catalog;
- Or select NetLibrary from the library’s database page.
- Upon entering NetLibrary, click “Create a Free Account” located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- Enter the requested information and select “Create Account.” Be sure to keep a record of your username and password.
- When accessing NetLibrary from off campus, simply enter your username and password in the login box and click the red “Log in” button.
Search for NetLibrary eBooks Search for eBooks by keyword, title, author, or full-text term. By using advanced search, you can search by ISBN, subject or a combination of fields. Also you can limit your search by year, publisher, or language. If an eBook is not available, it may be checked out to other patrons. An eBook can be “checked out” to no more than four patrons at a time. Try again later. Checkout and Return You can check out an eBook for a 4-hour period. If there are no other requests, it can be checked out for an additional 2 hours. The title automatically returns to your library after the checkout period and can be checked out again. Printing You can print small sections or single pages. This material is protected by copyright laws subject to terms and conditions of fair use. Log Out When finished, close your NetLibrary user account by clicking “Log Out”.
