E-Book Collections

The Eastern Shore Community College Learning Resources Center (ESCC LRC) provides more than 32,000 electronic books to better serve distance education students as well as ESCC students and staff who wish to use resources remotely. These collections can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• NetLibrary provides electronic full-text copies of published print materials, such as reference books, scholarly monographs, and trade books.


• Gale Virtual Reference Collection contains encyclopedias, almanacs, directories and other trusted references on numerous subject areas.


• Oxford Reference Online brings together language and subject reference works, dictionaries, maps, timelines, illustrations, quotations and more.
