Eastern Shore Community College is recruiting for a part-time position reporting to the Building and Grounds Supervisor. The minimum hourly rate is $11 per hour. There are no benefits associated with this position. Flexible schedule with up to 29 hours per week beginning July 17, 2017, or as soon as agreed upon, which may include evenings and weekends. Position is subject to a background check. The selected candidate must have the physical ability to stand, sit, bend, squat,, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds; and the ability to follow oral and written instructions/regulations.


Perform manual maintenance, including but not limited to moving furniture and equipment; Stripping and waxing floors; setup and breakdown for special events; mowing, weeding and landscaping; perform custodial duties throughout all facilities and grounds; and assist with clean up associated with inclement weather conditions.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma/GED or relevant full-time work experience in Trades related area. Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications

Custodial and landscaping/lawn care experience. Pesticide Application License.
