New Business Development and Workforce Training CenterThe College’s New Business Development and Workforce Training Center will be complete in November 2008 and ready for classes in January 2009. The new building will provide much needed space for nursing and allied health instruction and labs as well as state-of-the-art computer training facilities and a new industrial technologies training lab. Several of the classrooms have movable walls so the room size can be adjusted for maximum flexibility. There will also be a formal conference room and distance learning equipment as well as a large meeting hall that will accommodate more than 200 people. This new facility will allow us to further expand our rapidly growing continuing and community education programs, provide first-class training space for business and industry and create new opportunities for businesses, employers and community groups to bring their own meetings and other events to our campus. We are confident that this new facility will be a great community asset to enhance economic development on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. ESCC Brick CampaignESCC has started a Brick Campaign!
