About Me

About Me: I received my Ph.D. in geography from Louisiana State University in 1988, and subsequently taught at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, Salisbury University, and the University of Delaware. I have been an adjunct member of the ESCC faculty since 2002. I live in Laurel, Delaware where my wife and I enjoy working on our Gothic Revival Victorian home.

Articles and Publications: My publication record includes several book contributions, a physical geography laboratory manual, thirteen articles and fifteen book reviews in various professional journals, and over 100 reports to international, federal, and state agencies. Lately, I have been published in popular and literary magazines. As a geographer, I naturally have a strong interest in travel writing.
