About Me

About Me:	I was raised in Baltimore, MD and after three years in the Navy moved to New England for 28 years (all but 2.5 years in Massachusetts) of which 23 years was spent as a software engineer including 13.5 years at Hewlett-Packard (manufacturing systems, medical systems, ultrasound) and 7 years at Xyplex (network devices) before arriving at ESCC in 2003. Software engineering remains my primary professional interest. My other interests include playing the blues (primarily as an electric bassist), bicycling both for commuting and recreation, energy conservation, plus hiking and camping in New England and Atlantic Canada.
